Shipping, Delivery, Installation and Pick-up
Shipping is the freight cost of obtaining the safe or vault from the manufacturer to our warehouse/showroom or your location. It is separate from delivery and installation charges. Shipping costs are already included in our in-stock featured safes.
Delivery is the cost for having the safe or vault brought to your specific location from our warehouse. We have several options available for delivery as described below.
Installation is available with the special delivery service. Where we put the safe in a specific location per your request, and may include bolt down services.
Pick up is available with prior notice. Ask your sales specialist for details.
Delivery and Installation
Shipping via LTL Freight
Your product can be delivered to any commercial properties or businesses that have adequate room for a large tractor trailer. A loading dock and/or fork lift must be available at the time of delivery.
Advance notice and tracking information are available in most cases. These deliveries are available via LTL Freight companies.
Garage Delivery
Your safe can be delivered directly to your residence or business and moved into a garage by Northeast Safes and/or our team of subcontractors.
Your safe will be delivered inside the garage on the pallet. The safe will not be removed from the pallet. Access to an “overhead” garage door is required, and must be over a hard permanent surface such as pavement or concrete.
Special Delivery/Installation
We pride ourselves on our customer satisfaction during deliveries. We have the tools and employees with expertise to move and secure heavy safes. Rely on our experience, rather than your friends to protect your investment, especially in tight quarters!
Special delivery is required for remote of limited access or special circumstances, such as roads with excessive turns, no turn around area or extremely long driveways. Special deliveries also include unique locations, steps and anchoring (*Installation agreement required).
Pricing
- Shipping Freight fees: call 607-244-0805 for quote, or use shipping estimator.
- Garage Delivery charge: $400.00 minimum per person plus $2.50 per mile (entrance level, no steps).
- Special Delivery/Installation estimates: $400 minimum per person plus $2.50 per mile. $200.00 additional charge per person required for stairs.
- Anchoring: $10.00 wood floor, $15.00 cement floor.
- Shimming and safe leveling: no charge
